Holy Baptism is the primary sacrament of the Church. Jesus was Baptized by John before he took up his ministry in Galilea. From that time forward, Baptism has been the initial sacrament of all Christian people and enables full participation in all other sacramental rites and services the Church offers. In the Episcopal Church it is traditional to baptize infants and children. However, we welcome any adults who would like to be baptized to inquire about the sacrament of Baptism, as well.
