Chateau du Lac

Chateau du Lac Birthday Party

Here’s what you can do to help. Come and celebrate! Visit and assist in serving food!  If you choose to help with refreshments (fruit, cheese,  cookies, salty treats), please let me know. We always have terrific door prizes donated by members of the church. (Put them in the collection box in Hardtner Hall.) Children are welcome and bring lots of smiles to the party. We provide birthday gifts for the honored guests and favors for everyone who comes. The party lasts about one hour. Our last party had more than 80 guests.

We continue to assist these friends by donating gently used clothing and household items, which should be placed in the collection box.

So, again I say a huge “Thanks” to you for supporting this ministry with   financial gifts and your time, talent and Christian hospitality. The perfect gift is one where you don’t expect anything in return. Everyone who helps with the Chateau Party, leaves feeling that they are the ones who were blessed! Show up and SMILE!

Peace and joy, Missy Shaddock, 439-9737.

Chateau du Lac Ministry began in 2011 with the residents of Chateau du Lac and Good Shepherd members.

Our outreach has included and does include:

1) Donations of clothing and household goods and books.

2) Sponsoring monthly birthday parties and bingo.

3) Furnishing the Peace Garden

4) EDS students provided gift bags for residents, dogs, cats and birds

5) ICCS and St. John Elementary students provided jars of dried beans for bean soup.

6) EDS students donated hats, gloves, sox, scarves and slippers.

7) Lenten 6 week Bible study.

8) Monthly Holy Eucharist on the 2nd Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
